While there obviously is some tension and awkwardness between Buck and the rest of the team after resent events, the one who seems to be handling it the least well is Eddie. While he forgives Buck, he also says he is not mad (which we know not to be true, given their fight in the grocery store, his demeanor toward Buck throughout the episode + him ending up taking out his anger in the fight club at the end.) I personally see it as after the tsunami Eddie felt more than ever like he had found a person he could truly rely on and trust, both with regards to Christopher and himself, (contrary to his complicated feelings toward Shannon) and that just went straight into what I think he saw as a massive betrayal. What are your thoughts on this? Why do you think this hit Eddie so hard compared to everyone else?

This is more in reference to the grocery store fight between Buck and Eddie in the previous episode (colloquially known as the Buddie divorce). As much as it is likely true that Christopher misses Buck, how much do you think Eddie might be using Christopher as a way of expressing his own feelings ("Do you know how much Christopher misses you?")? Do you think it's interesting that they didn't have a Buddie fight after Buck lost Chris in the tsunami but instead saved it for the lawsuit arc instead? You mentioned that Buck felt step-father-ish in the tsunami arc, and the grocery fight always reminds me of a custody battle -- with them trying to negotiate when and how Buck can see Chris without Eddie, and all communication going through lawyers. We've talked about Eddie/Abby parallels, but do you see any Buck/Shannon parallels? Furthermore, do you think Eddie's street fighting is solely about working out his anger? Or could it be more about self-harm or a response to a lack of control, given the things that have happened in his life recently?
