Surprise, I am indeed reacting to S2 of Percy Jackson 😏 this is NOT taking the place of Adolescence, so expect a poll coming soon for a new short show, but I will be doing these reactions as well!! (needed this week to get sorted but new show will start next week)

That does mean these won't be a part of the usual weekly schedule, but I am fully planning to do the whole season, just can't promise consistency on exactly WHEN they are coming

Google Drive Tip: It takes time for Google Drive to process videos. If it says "still processing" or is only allowing you to view at 360p, then you can always come back later or download the video in full

Dropbox Tip: The quality of the video is lower while streaming so I recommend downloading or using google drive if thats an issue

demi god adults do exist. luke is one of them, he’s 19 in season 1. after they “graduate” they are still allowed to stay and can just not go back if they want to. then again camp isn’t mandatory so they already have that choice. also the book mentions that most demi gods don’t reach past 13 because monsters kill them before they grow up and get stronger.

alrighty, I got mythology notes that should be spoiler-free Tantalus, in the most well-known variants of the myth, is thrown into the underworld to be punished by never being able to eat or drink and to be in constnat danger of being buried alive by a falling cliff. This is punishment for stealing gods' food (ambrosia/nectar) and for trying to feed them his own children. The orange jumpsuit is a nod to him being "imprisoned" in the underworld, and the fact that he's working with children right now is some serious madness. The whole mythological genetics thing is not really a thing to hold onto - gods have monstrous children with other gods, with nature spirits, with monsters; on the other hand, you have humans with humans having monstrous offspring, too. It's just a weird mythological decision that some children come out monstrous. In Riordan's books, it's often that gods + "lesser" mythological creatures => monster children, as opposed to gods + mortals => demigods. Cyclopes are traditionally smiths for Poseidon's forges, which may be why Tyson is handy. and a non-mythological note: Danny Virtue is a recently-deceased stunt coordinator, legend in his field, who also worked on the chariot race in the second episode. Glad you're enjoying the season so far, and looking forward to seeing what you think of the rest when you find the time!

I mostly just watch reactions these days and rarely see ads so I didn't even know these were out already. I'm at work on Christmas and starting my day off watching this reaction hehe
