Yeah after episode 4 the vibe shifts dramatically.

this was one very good episode! i feel like as good as the plot twists were both time, none came as a surprise to me, especially this one. I've always had this thought in the back of my head, that all this time Malivore needed Landon to be his vessel so the second he actually had Landon, why would he let him go? and out the Necromancer door as well. looked and seemed too easy to begin with. also, about Clarke, I'm not sure what was up in the fandom during the show's airing period but knowing my TVDU, this sure as hell looks like a good fanservice as well. Not that Clarke joining this episode didn't bring to the good storyline but watching the show I've always felt like Hope and him had a good frenemy dynamic with some good chemistry, so, i wouldn't be surprised if that was the actual thought process for others as well, at that time, and creators just gave people what they wanted. i do believe he is a very good character overall. BUT.. after this episode, all I'm thinking about is damn.. so all this time, actual Landon was missing and still stuck either in prison world or as Malivore.. that's actually kinda devastating. hopefully we get him back but after this much time? i'm not even sure if he's gonna be alright, at least i wouldn't be? lol.. it's sucks that we get genuinely nice and kind souls as characters and ofc they have to go through all the crap.

I don't think Hope needed her own blood for the spell, she just did that because she cast the mimicking spell. So biting her wrist, made him bite his wrist, and then dripping her blood on the map, made him drip his blood on the map
