Eloise frustrates me quite a bit just because even though shes all about equality and choice, any time a woman near her is actually enjoying themselves with what they've given the option to enjoy like in season two or three where a group of women were talking about embroidery with Eloise and instead of removing herself from the conversation politely she makes a sly comment and brings down the mood of these women just talking about something they like, I definitely think thats why Hyacinth is so frustrated because when she was trying to talk to Eloise about a book because she was trying desperately to bond with her older sister over something she's looked into and thinks is up her alley but Eloise just doesn't even hear her out and has a knee jerk reaction to "ballerina". Eloise reminds me of people who didnt grow out of their "I hate pink" phase which is caused by internalized misogyny. From Hyacinths point of view any time she tries to talk to her about either her own interests or when she makes an effort to bond over Eloise's interests she just shuts her down really rudely

fun fact - sophie never asked benedict if he felt out of place - but the lady in silver did. so, at least subconciously, his brain is putting the pieces together and connecting sophie to the lady in silver.

I always really enjoy your reactions to Bridgerton. I also have to commend you for being so respectful when answering the question about your favorite characters. Other reactors as well as people on twitter are so nasty towards the characters that they don't enjoy as much so it is just refreshing to hear someone be so kind about it. Unfortunately Penelope and Colin (even Nicola and Luke) and s3 get hated on hard and they are constantly insulted, so as someone who loves those characters its not nice to see, i agree with you saying that s3 suffered from bad side plots whereas this season did them so well. I genuinely wish the writers put as much as care and thought into s3, specifically colins character, as they did to all of the other leads :( Now they barely put him in this season and it is just such a shame because in the book he was very much involved in helping Benedict. Sophie was one of my favorite characters from the books and Yerin has been doing such an incredible job with her, she is definitely in my top 5 (Penelope, Colin, Eloise, Sophie, Kate <3)
