It needs a lil bit of time to process the video before it can be streamed, I'm not too sure on the exact time but it will definately be able to be streamed sometime today. I just wanted to get it up asap rather than leave it until a later time, you can still download it if you wish however fair warning, it is 3GB!

Remember nothing you see is what it is. That's why it is kind of fun to see the commeonts of reactors to the first episodes...and is kind of frustration at the same time...😂😂😂 This show is not shallow, so the question why Damon is so pissed off with his brother? Could it be because of a woman, or there is more? 😁 One thing so far obvious to anybody, the two brothers are super gorgious.

This show is so good at hocked in you in, it is famous for h its twist and cliff hangers. It a bit like a rollercoaster ride, we are at the point we are slowing climbing picking up pace ready to be plunged at crazy speed. This show has no filled episodes, you get a season worth of content in one episode. The lore of this show is monumental. They had 11 books from which to get material to transform in one show, and create an entire universe, with his rules, his mythology, his history, introducing the two brothers and expanding from them explaining how each character his important to this universe and what role played in creating it. Any other show about vampires will have to deal with this show lore, being so complete and logical. The trope associated with the genre here is refreshingly unapologetic, and what you aspect from a vampire show. This is more Anne Rice “Interview with the vampire” or Bram Stoker Dracula” of F.F. Coppola, inspired, rather that the silly bloodless Twilights series for children. Vampires will be vampires; the atmosphere will be gothic, lavish, sensual and sexual, dark and violent, intense and deep everything about a vampire show should be. I love your reactions Harry, you are smart.

This episode shows how Stefan is a master puppeteer. He used everyone's personality traits to trap Damon. Stefan's motives to trap Damon was not just to “protect” everyone; his main objective was to stop Damon from talking about Katherine to Elena.

The kitchen scene with Bonnie and Elena is crucial. Guys, notice what Bonnie said to Elena about Damon, Katherine and Stefan. Now, change the name of Katherine to Elena and it gives us a foreshadow to what will happen to the love triangle in season 4.

In this episode, along with the pilot and episode 3, we get a tiny hint of who Elena met first between the brothers. Notice the music playing while Stefan and Elena are seeing the family's emblem and how the scene are switched between Stefan, Elena, Jenna, and Logan Fell. Now, also listen to the lyrics of the song playing while Damon and Elena are talking, while Stefan and Caroline are dancing. What are the writers trying to tell the audience? The music and scenes rotation are clues to the story.

Harry, I know you don't like Tyler at this point of the story, but he was protecting Vicki from his parent.

The scene switching back and forth between the siblings of the Gilberts and Salvatore brothers show us how vampirism changes the dynamics of how they interact with other people. With the Salvatore siblings, we see them being sarcastic and manipulating each other. With the Guilbert, we see them quarreling but show some form of warmth and comprehending from Elena toward her brother. Vampirism is what brings those toxic elements into relationships.
