You are very perceptive...."Damon doesn't care"....yep correct and there is a reason for it. Damon has a plan, and to execute that plan he needs the crystal. Also he needs the council off is trail, because they were that much close to put two and two together he was force to use Lexi to killer her in front of the sheriff to gain the council trust. The killing of Lexi from Damon seems brutal, but as you intuited they’ve known each other for long time and there are multiple reasons why Lexi and Damon didn’t like each other. Remember not everything or everybody is what or how they seem to be.....😁 I enjoy your reactions very much.

Yayy Finally caught up with all the 8 episodes so far!! This is only going to get more and more interesting :)) Damon killing Lexi in this episode to get the town council of his and Stefan's back is very much a Damon thing. But the question still remains is that what exactly is his plan and why is he in desperate need of the crystal? Cannot wait for more episodes.
