I was ok with this episode- didn't love it, also didn't hate it. For me, it started going downhill with the next one. But yes, the sister-relationship also had me very curious! I think it doesn't speak for the dad that he pawns off responsibility for his younger daughter (Mencia) to his older daughter (Ari). "You can't handle her"??? Dude, you're the parent. That's YOUR job.

- The dad said “you have enough to handle with your sister”, is because something happened in their past (won’t spoil, but the whole “havent you hurt us enough” thing is part of it) so the dad expects Ari to keep Mencia on a straight line, basically be her parent, and Mencia is rebellious which we can tell just by her vibe, sittjng in on the protest, staying out all night without calling, calling her dad by his name and whatnot so he was telling Ari to just focus on her sister because she’s doing a poor job of managing her basically. It was a lot clearer to understand what he said when hearing it Spanish lol - Last season when Ander found out about the cancer and only Rebe knew, they were having a conversation and he asked her to tell him something no one else knew about her basically and Rebe admitted that she’s attracted to both guys and girls & told him she found Carla attractive & also told him she had a crush on Samuel. But I think this was her first actual romantic interaction with another girl.

Honestly it happened to me too the first time I watched because after she told Ander it never really got mentioned again since they did that whole stupid relationship between her and Samuel right after that lol and then once season 4 started I was like “AH! Its all coming back” 😅 but at least we know this is about her actually kissing a girl for the first time rather than figuring out her sexuality from scratch.
