Guys, I want to thank you all for making this journey of TVD with Harry's reactions so memorable. I enjoy seeing how compassionate and open-minded Harry is toward each character. It is truly a breath of fresh air compared to what we see on other media platforms. Most of the fandom has a horrible negative intake of what happened on TVD, and most of their claims are erroneous. I always go back to the storyline because it is the only point of reference to decipher the puzzle of TVD. I enjoy the beautiful and insightful comments from Archna, who I can see to have a great understanding of Damon's character. When I think of what Damon went through, it grips my heart with pain. No other character has ever stolen my heart as Damon has. Damon stole my heart and never gave it back. He can keep it. Patpet, thank you so much for letting me know about Harry. I love how you can see the story so clearly. I always look forward to your comments as well. Because of you, Patpet, I am enjoying the show almost like the first time, but this time around, it is with much greater joy. I am learning a lot this time around. Thank you guys so much.

And agreed, Patpet and Archnas comments are always amazing to read as its rare you get to have people tell you some information you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere due to spoilers. U have all made this journey so fun to experience and I am hella excited we still have 5 and a bit seasons to go!!!

Fans of Stefan and Stelena claim that Stefan resisted the compulsion from Klaus because he stabbed himself. Stefan only slowed down the inevitable to drink Elena's blood because he was still running after Elena when he stabbed his stomach. Slater didn't want to stake his own heart, but he still did it anyway, due to the compulsion from Elijah. Elijah compelled Katherine to stay inside the tomb which goes against every fiber of her being because self-preservation is above everything else for Katherine and yet she still remained in that tomb against her will. Vampires can resist the compulsion of an original vampire, but they can NOT avoid it.

One of the best things about this show is how they don't waste any time. Every episode moves at a good pace and we get to see things happening fast. Klaus found out about Elena being alive and he was at the school all ready to attack. Stefan lying to Klaus is a big deal to him because he was looking for the old Stefan. The Stefan who once referred to Klaus as brother but Klaus doesn't understand that Stefan already has a brother and he has built a new life for himself in Mystic falls. But then again if Klaus doesn't get what he wants; he has other ways to get exactly what he wants as we saw in this episode. I felt really bad for Stefan in this episode because poor guy has been forced to turn off his humanity. I think it's one of the most horrible things to happen to him. Earlier he was worried that if Elena finds out what he is like as a vampire in his natural element that may push her away but this wasn't just about him being a vampire but she is seeing him as someone who has no humanity. God that sucks! Of course Stefan couldn't avoid the compulsion but he was trying to slow it down which I do appreciate. Extra stars to Paul for this entire sequence!! The way his expressions shifted once Stefan's humanity was off was too good. Damon and Katherine make me laugh and how!! I love them bickering and Katherine like always trying to make a move on Damon. He gives into it for the moment but I love how he ends up insulting her in the end😂It was so funny to me when he said 'I wouldn't have done it for you' because actually he did end up dying to save her but the difference is that Katherine never understood his love so it makes sense that he just keeps throwing it in her face and goes on about proving how devoted he is when he cares for and loves someone. Damon doesn't care what is going to happen to him; nothing is going to stop him from being there for Elena. I love how earlier they fought and it pushed Damon away to the point that he decided to leave town with Katherine. But the minute he hears she is in danger, he runs back to save her no matter who he is going to fight. The whole moment in the hospital was too damn sweet! I had been scared for a second because he was looking at her blood but we know he wouldn't have any trouble controlling his urges. I think in this episode at the end, both Damon and Elena realised that no matter how much they fight and get angry with each other, they need each other. His promise to never leave her alone again melted my heart. And without fail he returned her necklace thrice now. But why didn't she take it this time? Excited to see how Stefan with no humanity is going to protect Elena and how is Damon going to deal with his brother who is no longer consumed with guilt.
