The lore of this show is so well written. The Originals create their bloodline and the people they created, turned others and so on. Therefore there are thousands of Vampires and hybrids, that are linked to the originals bloodline. That is why Ester, that knew that, wanted to kill them all to end “the plague” to eradicate vampires from the face of the earth. We saw Finn and Sage and the guy that was turned by Sage, but we haven’t seen all the people that have been turn by Sage and all other that have turn others, so imagine some nice vampire like Caroline in the world dropping dead without even know how. So at the moment the originals are untouchable. Unless as you say they find a way to incapacitate Klaus, which seems unlikely since he is impervious to any of the ordinary way to incapacitate an original. The relationship between Rebekah and Klaus is complicated, but he is such a bdag with her, because he has no respect of her being so caught up in triviality as love and being loved, he is paranoid and things that she fell in love too easily putting herself in position of vulnerability. On the other end Rebekah is loyal to him because he is the brother she was most close when they were human and he is her family no matter what, but his interference with her life made he more and more longing for a stable situation for what she value the most, love and she can recognise love when she sees it. Her sentence is so iconic. “the Salvatore brothers might fight like dogs but they would die for each other, at list they know what family is” no statement has been more true, that is why she release Damon, because she see in them what she crave so much and admire and envy the brother’s unbreakable bond. I feel sorry for Damon, the dream sequence is him that would love to show Elena is very vulnerable side and how he depends on her to be rescued in general, how he would love to have the same intimacy that she had with Stefan when she was giving him her blood, thing that must have been impressed in his memory, because that sort of intimacy of exchanging of body fluids it’s a clear indication of a sexual relationship, so that dream sequence are all Damon’s feeling for Elena, wanting surrender and be dependable to her, wanting to drop the wall to show her vulnerability and his physical attraction for her. And since nobody ever really cared for him that is what he craves the most, that Elena would care for him. Bad Alaric is going to be a problem; he is armed with a stick that can end an entire blood line....we will see how they are going to deal with that. An last but not list Stefan finally came to the realization that is rage and craving or revenge had a price and that he cannot always o thing and aspect no consequence because in is head he is good and for this reason everything he does should be forgiven. Also he thinks that him drove Elena to have feeling for Damon, but that is not the case, it might have help Elena to stop and think what she wants, but her feeling for Damon have nothing to do with Stefan. They team up since season one, she trust him, they are much more similar, though and impulsive and daring, and he has been there for her always, plus they do share a strong physical attraction, they are like magnets. If anything what happen between Stefan and Elena made her more aware of the difference between the brothers and how this effects her. But she is not prepare to admit her feelings also because Elena is not the kind of person that would give up on someone that is in trouble, like Stefan and they never had closure, never really split up, her feeling for him have been in time waiting to be defrosted, even though lots of things has happen.

The writing of this holds greatest standards because every twist and turn has logic and reasoning for the things that happened before and why it happened the way it did. It's crazy how Esther had decided to link all the originals and at that time the gang was on with the plan but now it's not shocking as to why Esther thought this was going to end the vampire problems; it literally will kill the existence of vampire. Chef's kiss for the thoughtful writing. In this episode I wasn't pissed with Stefan when he was not agreeing to Elena's plan of prioritizing saving Damon because I get that he was occupied with the thought that if they kill one of the originals, all of them would be dead and Damon would be safe but maybe he could be slightly worried about his brother in the moment😂 I mean what about the torture Damon must be going through and how do you know Klaus or Rebekah wouldn't try to kill him already. Elena speaking about what he would and what we should do was ironic. I know she was worried about Damon and therefore wanted to make sure they went to first save Damon just like if it was Stefan in his place. But maybe for the first time she was realising how different and difficult it can be when you have to judging your actions based on what should be done and what someone wants. It's always been about how Elena would want things to be a certain way when it's about life and death but what about what should be done according to other pov's? But I think she is getting on to something here. Klaus trying to get Stefan to appreciate him was bullshit; like yeah good if that's what you think but it's stupid😂It goes on to show though how he thinks this because he does have a soft spot for Stefan thanks to their time in Chicago earlier. And I think we know how messed up Klaus can be for those he cares for even a bit. Absolutely loved Rebekah's line "The Salvatores might fight like dogs but they would die for each other, at least they know the meaning of family"!! Say that one more time because it's nothing but facts. Damon and Stefan have their baggage but nothing and I mean nothing comes in the way when it's about the brothers love for each other. Stefan coming back to his reality about how things have changed around him is hard hitting for him now because his revenge and anger no longer serve him. I get that he is hurting recognising that his actions have pushed Elena away but I wouldn't say it's completely true. Elena is still around Stefan and she still tells him that she never stopped loving him despite the worst thing he did to her not long ago. So her heart is way too big to turn away from the people she loves and cares for. But when it comes to Damon, she honestly cannot admit or understand her feelings because she has never allowed herself to even admit it to herself out loud. And I understand it can't be easy to let herself acknowledge it because of the conditioning and the history between the brothers. She feels it's wrong on so many levels and I am not going to lie in real life this can never be a thing. But the longer she denies herself the truth, it will get complicated so it's time she tries to figure out her feelings for both herself and the Salvatore brothers. Bonnie my poor baby! I always always have myself wanting to protect Bonnie because she goes through so much and most of the time is alone in all of it. I just hope she gives herself the time she needs to hit back. The conversation shared between Caroline and Alaric was brilliant. I absolutely think Caroline was being the bigger person here by understanding that Alaric didn't purposefully kill her father and she understood that everyone ends up messing up big time even if they haven't intended it. So great growth! But one thing I was wanting say to her was girl you slept with Damon too (just so she remembers because it's not just Rebekah)😂

I respect Rebekah for letting Damon go and telling Klaus that the Salvatore brothers will die for each other and that they know What family means. She wants someone to care for her the same way the Salvatore's care and love each other. Damon was right about Rebekah and her relationship with Klaus by taking her anger toward other people due to how Klaus treats her. After all, Klaus treats her awfully. In regards to Damon, he would have stopped everything to save his brother.
