We really ended the season with no continuation of the Omar/Bilal story line……ANYWAY I’m gonna miss these reactions😭. With Elite done for now, and Love Victor wrapping up, have you considered what shows will be filling their slots?

They definitely just dropped that story line after episode 4. I know for sure that Omar is not returning for season 6, but Bilal is coming back.

This sucks, but I know that Caye, Rebe, Omar, and Samuel are for sure not returning for season 6. They might appear in a short story or be in an episode or two to wrap things up, but they are not a part of the returning cast. I know they are bringing 5 new characters, including a trans guy so that should be interesting. I know the quality of Elite has declined after season 3, but something about this show keeps me coming back for more.

I don't think the producers really want to get rid of these iconic fan favorite characters. This is definitely the actors wanting to move on. Filming one season takes 4-5 months which is a massive time commitment.

It was really smart of the producers to cast Ivan and Isadora with them being Brazilian and Argentinian, respectively. They are both well known in the Spanish speaking world from their time on the Disney Channel. Having Ivan and Cruz speak Portuguese is definitely a nod to the massive following Elite has in both Brazil and Portugal.

Elite definitely benefits from the Netflix format of short seasons. Since there are only 8 episodes a season, it is easy to binge watch.

Finally caught up w your reactions! Thank you for your outrage regarding what those assholes did to Isadora. As you could tell from my question, I didn't like how that whole storyline played out and I don't trust the writers anymore. But seeing someone be as angry as me was a little cathartic, ngl. If Samuel is dead, that mirrored Marina's death so much, and I really appreciate how they're circling back to the very beginning, the central relationship of the pilot, the first person Samuel liked at his new school. Assuming he is dead (listen, we didn't get 100% confirmation, and again, I don't trust these people with anything anymore), he died by a pool, like Marina. He has the same head wound. He got up again after being down and walked for a few steps, then died in the arms of people he loved - all like Marina. I kinda wish they had used the same song, I hear the day has come, which they played when Marina died and when Nano left Madrid for good. Caye and Rebe definitely were what got me through the last two seasons, and I'm so sad to not see them return. On the meta level- Claudia and Georgina are fantastic actresses and I'm going to miss seeing them/ Rebe and Caye on my screen. In-universe: Good for Caye getting away from all this! I want her to be happy with Felipe, work toward her dream of being a designer and never deal w crazy drama like this again, haha. Rebe... Ooof. I want her to be happy, too, but losing Samuel like this (again, if...) must be traumatic. I don't think she could be with Mencia after this. So I want her to move away and build a new life for herself after graduation. Same for Omar. Start off with a vacation seeing Nadia and Lu in New York and then figure out what you want to do with the opportunities that graduating from a school like Las Encinas affords you. Thanks for your reactions, Harry! They were really fun to watch, even though I couldn't say the same for this season for myself. You rock :)

That's what happens when you comment before finishing to watch, lol. I'm too impatient, sorry- of course you caught the Marina thing. And I forgot to say THANK YOU for not giving in to the writers' bs about Phillipe ever. He's despicable and nothing they tried to do changed that and I'm really living for how you made your dislike of him clear throughout the season.
