That night chat with Mia & Veronica really resonated with me. It can be so frustrating to fight for something, invest so much time, effort or even money, only to realize that you no longer want it, or in this case wanting something else. You can feel like a fraud, you can feel like you’ve let yourself down, let others down who’ve also invested in you. And while “That’s life” can be such an unsatisfying answer, it’s just that. The answer. And if you can, it is often better to choose what will make you happy than to stay the course and live with the regret and misery of “What if?”
