LETS GO

ITS HERE To help with the confusion; Hillerska and Marieberg are two different schools. Marieberg is the larger school in Bjärstad that Simon and Sarah used to attend. Simon's friends Ayub and Rosh currently attend Marieberg.

I don't like August at all, and it was clear that we as an audience were not supposed to like him. Like he said to Sara though, he is majorly fucked in the head. His father committed suicide, his family lost all of their money, and he also lost Erik. Being broke must hurt for someone who's identity and self-worth are completely tied to his family name and status. He obviously has some kind of anxiety issues and drug addiction. They haven't discussed this on the show yet, but it seems like August might have some kind of eating disorder that's also connected to his excessive working out. There was a scene in the first season where he was looking in the mirror and pinching his skin like it was fat. Like I said, I don't like August and I don't want him and Sara together. I just don't understand why Sara would want to be with someone like him. If he could turn on his own family like that, he could hurt her too.

I was suspicious of Marcus at first too especially when he mentioned Karaoke and I was like "Oh No it's Victor and Rahim all over again!" lmao

Lotta Andersson

The thing with Sara and the money was that she had 500 SEK (~50 USD) in her savings account and had to transfer 200 SEK out to her checking account to pay for the coffee bill that the rich girls left her with at the counter. She had picked out a chocolate bar that she expected to pay herself but she left it when she had to pay the bill because she didn't feel comfortable calling them out on their rudeness.

Graham & Ruth May

I don’t like the predictable love triangle route with Markus at all, but as the season progresses, you can see that he’s a useful character in terms of how he affects others and how that’s used to move things along..but no spoilers. I am projecting just a bit too, as seeing anyone else with Simon except Wilhelm feels uncomfortable and wrong. 🥺😬

Yes, definitely more comparable to the public vs private school dynamic elsewhere. It just so happens that both are technically public schools in this case.
