@MichelleGonzales NO you got it wrong, in this universe the sire bond forms ONLY if the person turned into a vampire by a vampire, is in love with the vampire that turn her or him, and form ONLY if she or he had human feelings of love BEFORE being turned. That is TVD. Other shows or films sire bond rules do not apply here. Do not assume TVD is like any other show, you have to pay attention to the rules here and only here.

I'm sorry but I'm not sure if I heard right or what...but I thought I heard ya say that the sire bond is based on love?? A sire bond isn't really based on love. It is based on or stems from blood. When a vampires blood turns someone into a vampire, basically a sire bond CAN and or IS created. The newly turned vampire will obsessively follow the will of their "master" because they are now bonded or linked by that blood. That is my understanding of it as seen in Dracula movies of yore and folklore of vampires. Now hybrids are a different story however they are still half vampire.
