When Rebekah finds herself locked up in the sanatorium where she worked in 1919, she realizes a witch named Genevieve is back to seek revenge and to reveal dark secrets that would destroy Rebekah if she is exposed to them. A distraught Elijah turns to Marcel and Hayley for help when one of his decisions puts Klaus and Rebekah's lives in danger. With time working against them, Marcel realizes he may hold valuable information that could lead them to Klaus and Rebekah, but revealing it will almost certainly result in deadly consequences.

Another great reaction as always. Just wondering how you feel about the fact that Marcel was raised as a son by Klaus, the first person outside of his family that he really cared about in centuries? Rebekah was essentially his aunt since he was 10, I always felt iffy about their relationship because of that, if I adopted a 10 year old and my sibling started dating them when they were of age I would be pissed off. Lol. But add in Klaus' paranoia and homicidal tendencies 🤷🏼‍♀️ Maybe I always just got too hung up on that fact though. Different times maybe, when grooming was less of an issue. Lol. Anyway, can't wait for your reaction to next episode. I think it will be interesting. 🙂

It doesn't make me feel weird when I see them together but I do think about it a lot, especially when it comes to the reason why Klaus doesn't believe they should be together

The problem here is that nor Marcel or Rebekah had the guts to stand up to Klaus and speak to him face to face and tell him honestly they were in love and it was serious. You know he is paranhoid, well for good reasons, and your sneaking around doesn't help your cause in anything, but confirm to him you are acting like a child in need of an adullt telling you what is best for you. That is what he thinks, an they didn't do anything but making it worse. When Stefan was with Rebekah he didn't sneak around he stand up to Klaus and he respected that. Having said that the relationship between Klaus and Rebekah to me had a little bit of an incestuos undertone, he is over protective of her at the point of overstepping the line between an over the top protective brother to almost a jelous lover. Let's add that Klaus is a thousand years old person, that hasn't lost his ancient menthality of how a sister should be handle and protected, very ancient menthality, that proves how Klaus is clinging on to the pure vision of his little sister as their relationship was when they were young and humans, adding to it all the big mistakes Rebekah made with men during te centuries, starting with the member of the 5 that almost wiped out her family, Stefan too, in the 20s was not a great match with his reputation as ripper and his behaving with people at that time. So no wonder that everytime she is acting like she is in love to him sounds like trouble.

You asked if the only reason for Klaus to reject Rebekah's and Marcel's relationship was that he feared their love for each other instead of loving him more. That is the whole point of Klaus' character which is why I never liked him very much.

Yes the Rebekah and Elijah do have the same daylight ring all the Mikaelsons had the same ring if you go season 2 tvd Klaus had the same ring
