Endymion

Dahlia wanted to kill Hayley and the wolves. Having Klaus convince her, that the curse would be even worse than death was a genius move. The curse had been broken once before. So even with the changes for Hayley, a witch should be able to break the curse again. - But Klaus did kill two birds with one stone here. He saved the lives of his siblings and Hayley but at the same time punished them for the betrayal. And as Cami said, them turning on him is his worst nightmare. So of course he will retaliate.

Klaus stopping Elijah at the last second reminds me of when Stefan stopped Damon from killing Klaus at the last second in TVD, which allowed Klaus to kill Mikael instead

Klaus is very strategic, he managed to save Hayley by cursing her. It sucks, yes, but Dahlia wanted her dead. When it comes to Gia, Klaus said it once : You cant win a war without some strategic losses. Dahlia wanted Klaus to kill everyone or she would. Instead Klaus told Dahlia that he would make them pay in other ways. So, he kills Elijah's lover, makes Rebekah give up her human life, compels Marcel to be the one to "kill" Rebekah, saves Hayley and the wolves by cursing them. So yes, as messed up as it was, that was the only way to keep Dahlia from killing them all. Every time I see that scene with Hayley and the wolves kneeling in front of her as their Queen, I think to myself - Would these wolves feel the same way about Hayley if they knew she manipulated a pack of hybrids and led them to their slaughter by Klaus' hand only because she wanted a flash drive. The show expects me to forget about that by never addressing it, but I haven't. As far as this whole thing with Klaus admitting he killed Aiden, what else was he supposed to do? Say no, I didn't do it? You think they would believe him when all signs pointed that he had done it? He'd rather look like the villain who is willing to kill someone who betrayed him than as being weak and a liar who let Dahlia take the upper hand. Besides, he knew that Dahlia was behind it and he knew that her plan was for everyone to blame him, so even though it might look like Klaus fell into her plan, he actually did not, he made her think he did.

Klaus is a eye for a eye person! He gets a job done but also gets his revenge for any betrayal at the same time. The reason klaus traped Haley in to wolf form, is to actually not get her killed by dahlia, but also was a lesser form of punishment for her having the audacity to take hope away. Second Elijah assisted Haley with running away with hope, which was a dumb decision by him. He got blinded by Haley sweet talk. Helping Haley take away his kid, was the justification of killing gia. Eye for a eye

Sorry, me again but I just love this episode because it shows just how good Klaus is at strategy. I find it funny every time you call him an idiot when he is actually the smartest guy in the room. Aiden’s death was actually a godsend. Aiden gets murdered and everyone automatically assumes its him. And you see him work on that realization that his reputation is powerful because no one questioned that Klaus murdered Aiden in cold blood. He knows that the only person who would benefit from the wolves and his siblings turning his back on him is Dahlia, so what does he do? He lets her have her win because he realizes that she is using his reputation against him. That she wants everyone to think he has gone unhinged and blood thirsty. Now, he didn’t know the dagger was in play, but he knew Dahlia was planning something and the only way to know what that was was to let her plan play out. And boom, he gets daggered and Dahlia tries to convince him to join her. Now because his siblings were pushed to such lengths as to dagger him that gave Klaus the perfect excuse to want revenge on them and want to join Dahlia. And she would not question this because of Klaus’ reputation. And it is because she knows of this reputation that she expects him to be brutal. So yes, Klaus could have done something that would have zero casualties but Dahlia is too smart and knows his reputation too well to expect anything less than his brutality. Gia was an unfortunate casualty, not saying that Klaus cared about her or anything, but he knew he needed to hurt Elijah, convince Dahlia that he had no mercy. And this enraged Elijah to the point where they fought and Klaus used the tunde blade on him, taking him out of commission and out of harms way for the time being because Dahlia has no idea that Camille is alive and that Elijah is not daggered. She thinks that Elijah is out cold, and that Rebekah is being held hostage by Marcel. But Klaus knew that Rebelah was not going to just sit around and he had instructed Marcel to kill he knowing that she would jump back to her original body. So no he has two original vampires working in secret while he is convincing Dahlia to bound herself to him. Its such good writing because we know Klaus and his reputation too and so part of us dont question his actions because we know how brutal he can be. At the same time Dahlia doesnt know that Klaus is not the man he used to be and is completely misreading him so the fact that Klaus is smart enough to use his own flaws against Dahlia to gain her trust is brilliant.

I’m sorry but Klaus is a genius lol their plan wouldn’t have worked. He needed to appear unhinged and filled with rage. Dahlia was going to kill Haley and all of those wolves, Klaus convincing her to turn them instead to keep them alive was brilliant. Now I will say that this plan had revenge mixed into it, it was their punishment for trying to take Hope away. Which to be honest was a stupid ass plan from the jump. Dahlia would’ve found them. Rebekah is useless in that body so he wanted her back in the original but also to punish her For being in on it. Gia’s death was Elijah’s punishment but also to solidify to Dahlia that he had lost it. (It was definitely fucked up tho and unnecessary). I get your frustration lol Just my thoughts on this episode 😁

John Walker Is That Dude

I’m sorry u don’t get to KIDNAP a man’s daughter and get away with it. Elijah, Rebekah and Marcel have all tried to MURDER him but the fanbase is like “I don’t care what they did forgive them”. Klaus learned it was Elijah who murdered his first love Tatia the fanbase said again “I don’t care forgive him” Gia doesn’t hold a candle to Tatia. Elijah and his siblings all saw and hel0ed Esther and Mikael STEAL his werewolf side from him something he was born as they helped his trash parents steal the only side that gave him humanity and left him with his evil vampire side. The only way I will ever agree that Klaus is in the wrong is if just one of them helped him than they didn’t Klaus j7st like in his childhood beatings he was the only one fighting if the roles were reversed Klaus would have murdered Mikael on sight there is no way he would let anyone hurt them cuz of his werewolf side.
