Okay, season 3 is offically off to a FANTASTIC start, so much tension and anger in the air, excited to see it all explode!

That scene between Klaus and Hayley arguing and fighting each other is one of my favorites in the whole show, it's just so powerful

One of Klaus’ biggest flaws is his inability to admit that he’s made a mistake and make amends even to his own detriment. He’s known for a while now that he might’ve gone too far with Hayley but he can’t bring himself to help her until he’s fully backed into a corner. And the second he knows she’s safe, the wall goes right back up. The only tiny thing that irks me about this episode is that Hayley still tries to justify her decision to take Hope away from Klaus forever even now that she’s felt what that’s like. Obviously I think he owes her an apology too, but I think hers should come first since her hurt also came first.

Hard agree to both of these, they both acted it to perfection. Hayley with the raw emotion and Klaus just stood there taking it.

Both the Vampire Diaries and The Originals do a similar very symbolic thing with jewelry. Elijah giving the wedding rings (symbols of Jackson's and Hayley's love) back to Hayley, just like Damon giving Stefan's necklace back to Elena.
