Hailey won't die if Hope dies. Hope is technically Hailey's sire, but there is no sireline. The Sireline is a spell put on the originals by Esther so that every vampire they sire becomes apart of that sireline - it's a part of the vampirism spell. Hope wasn't turned by anyone who is affected by a sireline, but was born, that is why she isn't affected by the sireline spell. So Hope and everyone she turnes, like Hailey, are not a part of a sireline. That is what Tristan was talking about.

The problem I have with Hayley saying "I'm a part of this family too" is that she seems to say she is part of the Mikaelson's when it's convenient to her. She cherry picks. One moment she doesn't want to be associated with them and the next she shows up with a sense of entitlement demanding answers from Elijah and making other demands. I find her so annoying lmao. On another note, as much as I like Elijah his attitude towards Marcel is so borderline abusive at this point. I don't like the arrogant attitude he has as he "puts Marcel in his place." Especially because of where Marcel comes from and his history. Like, Marcel has not done anything against the family lately and frankly he doesn't owe them a thing, and yet he treats him like he is gum on his shoe.

And agreed, Elijah is one of my favourite characters but he is definately starting to grind my gears with his attitude, its like dismissive to the highest degree. If I was Marcel I'd be 1000% more inclined to join The Strix out of clear spite towards Elijah
