It always breaks my heart to hear about people with parents like this. I have a couple close friends that had really bad experiences and while I am gladly there for them every time they need someone to talk to, their pain hurts me with every new memory I get to be privy to. Just makes me glad to have grown up with two loving and supportive parents. Just wish every child could grow up like that. It’s a privilege that would probably help with a ton of problems the world is facing at the moment…
