Some dwarves specialized in stealing from a dragon's hoard and were well-equipped for tunneling underground, making it difficult for the dragon to pursue them afterward. Empusa's gold was among the more challenging targets that dwarves attempted many times with careful planning.

It was widely known that the dwarves valued dragon eggs even more than gold, hoping to hatch them, although they had yet to succeed. However, encountering a young dragon was considered an even greater prize.

What could possibly go wrong here...nothing at all.
