Peony, Cottons, a pigeon incident and oil painting (Patreon)

Not a lot, but definitelly the "break" I've been needing for a second now. Spent most of the time reading a bit, looking into artists and painters and playing with watercolors. Not to mention i've stumbled upon "farm frenzy 2" on some obscure online games website and unlocked a core childhood memory🐔✨️
Besides that i'm attempting painting a shrike i keep seeing in a nearby brier bush. One of my biggest "trust the process" projects in a while, as i really lost skill when in comes to oil painting, after pretty much dropping it in highschool. Happy to slowly get back into it!
Hasn't yet been a week but i really wanted to post the pigeon doodle. His name is Ecbert and he is one of the pigeons we've been giving treats to, to the point where he is now visiting daily with his giant gf, Pecker. Yesterday he thought it'd be chill to look around the apartment and obviously imediately forgot how he got in and started freaking out and missing the wide open balcony door, so we had to catch and free him. We love Ecbert.💕
