Sifu means master as well as teacher, so it's an honorific like professor. You'll see in the credits the name Sifu Kisu, he's the martial arts consultant for the show. They used him or his son to model for just about every pose of every person in the fight scenes. In Season 3 they based a character after Sifu Kisu, of course he's a master but I wont saw more except...yum yum. ;)
