After you finish arcane you should def watch the new league of legends cinematic as it is the story after arcane etc.

Ivan Tzarovich

I totally agree with the criticism. Much of this felt extremelly rushed and out of place

Funny Valentine

I agree with this but I also believe it was most likely due to how many episodes were set for the season or other production restrictions

Ivan Tzarovich

I disagree. There was a lot of unnecessary time-consuming subplots that they could've removed and it wouldn't have made any difference for the whole story (the most obvious example being the Black Rose). I also would've liked if Arcane had three seasons, but they could've made a more satisfying third act if they focused on the main plot

Salvatore

the black rose is an essential set up for the next tv show which Mel will be present in as a main character. So having this here, although it’s a bit out of place, is nice imo. But tbh, it’s kind of out of place but not at the same time? It adds a ton for ambessa’s character and her dynamics so I’m not actually sure.

Salvatore

If you don’t mind me asking, will it be posted as a reaction ?

I personally wish episodes 1-6 was stretched out to around 9 episodes, so that they could expand on caitlyn's arc a little more, maybe more of the jinx/zaun dynamic, and 7-9 stretched to 6 episodes to cover everything that happened (5 episodes for what is currently episode 8 and 9). I see the vision with what they were trying to do with the narratives, but they definitely could've used more time to settle, many events could've been expanded on (especially episode 9), and the show generally feels like it's missing certain character moments to tie together their arcs. Still one of my favorite shows of all time, but definitely lacking season one's cohesiveness. I believe the show writers have talked about the things they've learned from season 2, so I am looking forward to the next chapter of the league cinematic universe.
