June Update + Donation Goals Progress (Patreon)

June Update for future projects!

Upcoming video schedule for the next few months + some ideas! Please note that release dates are always subject to change for varying reasons and are not set in stone. AND video requests are now UNLOCKED again. Though of course all of the same conditions apply. I'm currently working on my first request back, which is the Pokemon video in progress. And reminder that you can ask me about any of these as well, of course, and note that there are some more potential topics listed in the Donation Goals at the bottom. If any of those get funded, they will be added to the list. 

CONFIRMED videos for the next while are as follows (These are completed and ready to upload unless stated otherwise):

- An analysis on the Unova region from Pokemon Black and White. [An unexpected 4th entry into my Pokemon videos series - also a Patron request. It'll be done in the same style as my Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh videos. Currently working on finishing this in the next week and a half or so. If I'm able to complete it, it'll be uploaded ASAP. If not, It'll be delayed until late June/early July.]

- GYRO: The Scourge of Humanity (Hunter x Hunter). [A video detailing the mystery behind the character, what he represents thematically, what he means for the story, etc. This video is COMPLETED and will be released June 18th. Length: 17:12, including a 1-minute sponsor read at the beginning of the video.]

- Better Call Saul's Devastating Turning Point. [A video about the episode entitled "Chicanery" from Better Call Saul. This was a donation goal that was reached. This video is almost COMPLETED and the release date for it will depend on what happens with the Pokemon video. Length: 19-20 minutes.]

- The Truth Behind "I Am The One Who Knocks." [Another Breaking Bad video, this time focused on the significance of that famous line from Walter White. This video is COMPLETED and will be released in early August. Length: 9:09]

- Part 2 of the FFVII video series. [Some work completed, but this is a long term goal that I'll be taking a break from for now. This will be nearly as long as part one]

Videos I'm currently working on that are very likely to happen:

- The 12 Most Important Lessons Haikyuu Has Taught Me [Audio recording done, video editing next. This will cover the entirety of the manga]

- A second Mad Men video [Current working titled is "Mad Men and the Illusion of Happiness" - rough notes have been taken down]

- A video about Araragi and Shinobu's relationship in Monogatari [currently taking down notes as I re-read the series]

- A Hyouka video [funding is nearly complete, so I've begun working on it]

Videos I'm currently working on that MAY happen:

- What is Femto? - A video discussing Femto from Berserk. Rough notes are down, seeing if this can materialize.

- Videos on Hoshiumi and Bokuto from Haikyuu - I've got some rough notes down for both but neither will happen until WAY down the line. Definitely not 2020, maybe not 2021

- A comprehensive narrative analysis for Hunter x Hunter's Greed Island arc. Not sure if this will happen, only a little bit of work has been done so far

- The Messages of Persona 5 Royal's True Ending - Kind of like a sequel to my first Persona 5 video but covering the themes of the remake. I finished a rough script months and months ago and only just remembered that I still have it. I don't think it's quite strong enough to turn into a video but the unedited script is available to read.

Video ideas that I have an urge to make, but haven't started any work on yet:

- A video for all of the donation goal topics listed below

- A Violet Evergarden video

- An additional video on some things about Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban that I haven't talked about in my critical review on the series

-  A video on Omori (Finished the game for the first time and loved it, so wouldn't mind covering it but no plans in place)

- A video on Chrono Trigger

• A video on my interpretation of the main theme of The House in Fata Morgana (visual novel). Not likely to be a long video, more like an emotional/thematic overview about the main story and Requiem. Second channel. Audio-only. [3.0% COMPLETED]
• A video covering my general overall feelings on Umineko no Naku Koro Ni (visual novel). Second channel. Audio-only. [22.2% COMPLETED]
• A video discussing Yui Ikari from Neon Genesis Evangelion and what she represents to me. Second channel - I cannot put this on my main channel due to Evangelion videos constantly getting copyright strikes. Audio-only. [0.0% COMPLETED]
• A video about Mawaru Penguindrum and what I take away from its themes, characters and presentation, and what it means to me. This would be a main channel video, with footage and all. [3.0% COMPLETED]
• A video about the main functions and themes of Hunter x Hunter's Zoldyck Family arc. This would be a main channel video, with footage and all. [3.0% COMPLETED]
• A video about Morel from Hunter x Hunter. This would be a main channel video, with footage and all. [15.8% COMPLETED]
• A video overview of what Hyouka means to me personally, why I love it and what I take away from it. This would be a main channel video, with footage and all. [75.5% COMPLETED]
• A comprehensive video overview of Beastars Season 2 - the themes, character arcs, etc. This will probably be a pretty long video, and I have some notes taken down already. This would be a main channel video, with footage and all. [7.0% COMPLETED]
• A video on Better Call Saul. This would be a main channel video, with footage and all. [100% COMPLETED - Video in production]
