After reading both I like both but prefer the zoologist. In the end write what you are more comfortable with.

I really liked the ranger story and I hope you do get to write more of it. Personally though I'd prefer the zoologist one, I think it sounds cozy and more cozy stories is always good

There's no such thing as penalty on RR. People might be less likely to click on stories, but it all depends on how good it is. Besides, if I were worried about RR "debuffs", I wouldn't be writing cozy with female protagonists.

No "Both" button?! I voted for Ranger because you don't often see the post-apocalyptic genre take the coexistence route, and I would love to see where you go with it. But I would honestly read both, they sound like lots of fun!
