Reread it (ofc) and the fact that Keane is just so unsure of himself in these past few updates and just a shell of his old self is killing me. I just want to give him a hug 🫂 😭😭 I really hope they’re able to resolve this soon and that what Nicole said about us being surprised MIGHT be some sort of resolution to all this?? At least a little bit??? Obviously I don’t expect it to all be fixed so soon (well not really soon but this is a BL comic we got like 40 more hurdles to go before there’s any sort of full resolution) but I NEED something!!! I have faith that something will happen to snap Keane out of his fog, and that the buildup to this game has not been for naught. He will beat those rich noobs' asses. Our boy Keane is down in the dumps, and it's frustrating to see, so a turning point must happen. What's the point of seeing an already whooped Keane, get whooped even more at something he CAN control (his prowess at basketball)? With that said, Onyx, this is partly your fault (yes, it is). 🙄 You pushed someone away without so much as an explanation why, and you expect them to be peachy? Especially your ride or die since childhood? Nah, he's gonna be fucked up of course until you address WHY. What needs to happen is some good, old-fashioned communication. Simple as that. Unless they can read minds, both of them are in the dark about what the other is thinking, outside of the obvious frustration. No need to drag this out much longer, please. 🙏🏾 Just talk it out, or I'm drawing myself in to mediate the fuck out of these two. 🤨

I feel so badly for both of them. Onyx was just trying to protect himself from further heartbreak, but it’s just as heartbreaking to see poor Keane hate on himself. The whole ✨gay awakening✨ hasn’t knocked him for nearly as much of a loop as thinking Onyx doesn’t like him anymore. It’s nice to see that their relationship is as essential to his well-being as it is to Onyx’s, though.
