I can totally see why there's going to be a time skip. I have a theory and it’s a very sad one. since this season is getting near the end, I feel like this is gonna be the event to put a year in onyxs and keanes relationship. I feel like Keane will circle back to the original issue of onyxs dad and him being in danger because of him. Since s2 is going to be in university/ college, I feel like they’re going to be ex friends, or even just one of those friends which you don’t talk too much. Maybe the storyline will follow them becoming fiends again after the strains jn their relationship, and then slowing beginning to like each other again. 🤷‍♀️ orrrr maybe they’ll continue into university being the happiest couple ever, not sure either haha

Like if it's Keane...and they try to bring this up to his mom and the cops then they will probably disregard it because Keane is a teen and is biased as onyx's friend.
