Posible changes. (Patreon)

Hello, everyone i hope you are having a good season, the reason I'm typing this is to tell you I have been thinking about making some changes to how I go on about my models, due to inflation things have been getting a bit tighter so I want to consult with you guys since you have been helping out a lot this year.

First I been considering changing the model tier from 1 buck to 3, the plan is to have the 1 buck tier as a legacy tier, basically, everyone already subbed to it will stay subbed in it with the same benefits but no new people will be able to sub to it to get the models.

The other is to no longer release the models for free after a month and put them on sites like Gumroad for maybe 30 bucks.

Those are the two things I have been thinking about so far but I'm open to suggestions, I want to do what feels good for you and me cause in the end you guys being here has been very helpful for me and I really appreciate that, so yeah, let me know what you think.

Edit: Some have told me i should set my Patreon to 5 but what do you think of that guys? is that manageable?

I think that's the way to go. You could probably even do close to $10 (or more) for the model tier.

Sound fair to level up your price, but if it get too high, I won't be able to follow since life get tight for everyone...

I get you, that's why i want to keep the 1 dollar tier as a legacy tier, so basically, everyone in it will keep getting access to stuff, the only difference will be that no new subs would be accepted in the future for that one. Like it will be locked.

I do think increasing the tier option is good, and then having them stay behind that paywall is for the best for you money wise. I would increase my support to at least $3-5 if you want to move model access up. And having a gumroad for a onetime payment option can work as well. I would stay on Patreon for monthly support and first access to the models and such.

Bumping up to $5 would be safe, it'd be an incentive for people to sub to the patreon instead of spending $30 on gumroad. But folks will still go that route. It'd keep some funds in your pocket and shove some of the financial pressure off. You make incredibly great-quality models. It's okay to ask for fairer compensation for your work. No longer releasing them for free, in my opinion, just makes sense. Even if it's just $5 you're still getting something in return for your efforts. And creators really like what you're making. So you wouldn't need to advertisement much, if at all. Even if there's a legacy tier route for current subs I'd still bump up to the new $5 price because you're worth well more than that each month.

Remember how much you charge for a personalized model. Giving away these patreon ones for only $5 is very cheap on your end. You deserve much better

Hey you put a lot of time and effort into your models, I was shocked seeing the last two go public so quickly. You should earn the money you deserve. You are under valuing your work for sure. Take pride in it and don't be afraid to charge more.
