WIP - Bastet 3D Printed Head Part 3 (Patreon)
Content
Here is a load of progress on this one in 2 days.
So starting from the top.
I used a heat gun to form a thermoplastic on the top of the skull of the head. This is to reinforce the structure of it since this part will have the most pressure from wearing it.
I prepared the LED eyes and hot glued them in. The next step was securing it with Apoxie around the eyelids. This also gives a bit of character to it before the furring at the end.
Airbrushing begins with primer on the nose and jawset. I swap around with black and grey to make sure I have a complete coverage over it all and it's smoothed out properly.
Netting in the eye tear ducts and nose to conceal the inside. Also airbrushed.
This jawset is going to have a gold shine on it tongue and gums. This is a newly designed set to be lightweight and better flow overall so it will install easily inside the head itself. And I can install a fan inside the muzzle.
I painted the teeth by hand since it was a small detail.
After airbrushing and painting was complete, it was sealed with a gloss.
That's the update on this for now. Next steps include fixing up the inside to be wearable and getting some foss-shape action on the ears, patterning fur and such. and I have a surprise 2D drawn digital reference sheet coming up for this! It will be included with the fursuit itself.
