I love this Pansy. Bumbling her way out of being murdered just feels so on point for some reason.

I did not see the murderer coming.

DragoulM

Twice in a row, did not see that coming. Congrats, not a lot of people can do that to me

I just had a thought. If there is a male ghost here, what happened to the canonical male ghosts and did any of the other dead men come back as ghosts?

MercerV12

Thanks for the chapter!

“Unaware of his eternal musings, Pansy huffs again and crosses her arms over her ample chest.” Do you mean “internal” musings?

Hmm. Besides ruining his fun, wonder if Dumbles and Snape from the original universe made Harry have an aversion to reliance on the Mind Arts

Chainsword83

DUN DUN DUN!!! Nice twist. Look forward to hearing what the late Mrs. Parkinson was plotting.

VaticToxic

Probably a combination of Snape Occlumency lessons in his first life (if close to canon) and one of his other lives where using it solved all his problems but made everything boring and predictable to the point of wishing to move on quickly.

Pure Dingo

Lol, that has to be one of the funnest or most stupid ways to save yourself. Nice work.

Damn the mom wanted that money. Killing her own daughter is wild. I like this pansy

JRC

But that's the dumb part, thanks to the "curse" everyone should know that once the male head of household dies no wife or daughter can get the family's money out of Gringotts! Although, I suppose with Pansy dead her mother could have tried covering up her husband's death until after she'd made a sizable withdrawal. Still, not exactly what I would call a flawless plan

Alun Lewis

Wow...discovering her own mother was planning to kill her, on top of murdering her husband/her father, must be quite the kick in the teeth for Pansy. And only avoiding said fate because you wanted the better presented plate of food? Even more of a head trip! That being said, I am curious as well as to Lady Parkinson's motivations for attempting mariticide & filicide, especially if the attempt was after the curse started offing wizards and the Goblins were blocking any transfer of assests to spouses and daughters of newly deceased Wizengamot members and average Joe wizards alike.
