for context, you're jumping into chapter 3. The synopsis of the story goes as follows: "A hardworking writer by day, a true succubus by night. Lillian finds herself panicking when the souls she has been devouring don't satisfy her cravings anymore. Until she meets a particular person that she quickly develops feelings for she didn't know she was even capable of. Dark, twisted desires grow between the two, making the fact that they have to work together, harder and harder."

In chapter 1 and 2 she meets Stephan for the first time and he's hired to be her coworker at the same company.
