Yes, last episode was baked potatoes, and this episode brought even bigger potatoes. We continue on with old Lucy’s temper tantrums. Rather love how you made the comment about the red eyes thing after we get more inverted crucifixes and crosses than Omen IV had in its entirety. Yeah, you do bristle at L.O.T.U.S, then again, Lucifer as the president... Sounds better than what we got at the present time, in all honesty. Really should be more concerning when he suggests the Goldwater approach of just using the nukes and then laughs it off. Had the feeling you’d not be thrilled with the plotline with Kelly. Suppose her decision at the end isn’t the biggest surprise. She hinted being a fairly devout Catholic, so, based on that, yeah, I guess it makes sense that she made the choice that she made. Should be interesting how the plotline develops nine months down the road. Somewhat curious: Is the musical accompaniment for that going to be Mia Farrow singing the lullaby or Jerry Goldsmith’s Oscar winning score? And there is the worry for you, Jess, knowing your triggers. Then again, this being a CW show, I doubt that they’ll get terribly graphic. On the other hand, you mentioned how even if they don’t show anything, it can still lead to a fainting spell, hence the worry persisting. Corwley and Rowena were a riot in this one. Rather like how though it seems that Rowena’s latest prey was a bit of a scumbag, he had her number pretty quick, and he pointed out that Rowena accusing him of just using her is quite rich. Good for Crowley stepping in, leading to that wonderful mother and son bonding moment that gave me so much life. Though I too am not averse to the boys’ preference of flannel, Crowley’s line does get the good belly laugh like it did for you. You mention not being able to trust either of them. You can trust them both within reason, more so if their goals or self-interest more or less line up with your own. I would doubt Rowena as her track record hasn’t exactly been the most sterling. You do give credit to everyone knowing that they only had the one shot, and they went for broke and did the damn thing. We are both wary as we do not see visual confirmation of Lucy in the cage. Sucks for the boys being in the tight spot. Bringing us to Mr. Ketch. Yes, he is the one who killed poor Magda, no worries on not being certain about that. Because of that, he’s on a bit of a shit list at the moment. By the same token, he does have some wonderful toys, I’ll give him points for that. I like how you’re largely curious how the British men of letters plot is going to go, much though you are over them after Toni had the time of shooting, tying up, and torturing Sam. Not to mention the rape that the show just glossed over. Fun reaction this week, Jess, thanks.
