Loved your reaction to this episode, Jess. I had a feeling there would be a few tears during this one. Half a Life is an excellent episode that covers a heavy and thought-provoking topic. It's nice to see Lwaxana Troi getting some serious character development here, rather than her just being portrayed as a comic relief character. Majel Barrett and David Ogden Stiers both do an outstanding job in this episode. The actress playing Timicin's daughter impressed the show's crew with her acting so much they brought her back to play Ensign Ro. There is an 89-year-old woman currently doing a Skyrim let's play series on YouTube, so who knows, maybe we'll still be here watching your reactions to various TV shows and movies in 2048 if it's something that you're still interested in doing by then. Who knows what the future holds?

Rather figured we’d have a consensus view that one, this one is an emotional one, and two, that Jess would go through it watching it. Very heavy topic that the show tackled. Lovely to see Majel demonstrate the range with Lwaxana, and she and David did very marvelous work in this one. It is nice how Michelle impressed the creative team with her skill that they got her back for Ro. More on that one later. Sounds amazing about the Skyrim videos. I don’t even really know Skyrim, and it sounds amazing. Provided it is something Jess would still wish to do, I’d be in support of 2048, and she’s still at it. I’d be in my late fifties by then with the beard and what’s left of my hair having gone all grey or white. Well, more likely just the beard, anyway. Like you say, who knows what the future holds?

One of my favourite episodes that's not one of the "big" ones. I adore Lwaxanna and both MBR and our guest star knocked this one out of the park.
