Am i the only girl in the Leaf of the Wind Lovelies? I'm really glad you posted this video. It's very important for women to address the lose-lose situation we have today in our society. I've also dealt with these struggles and still have many insecurity issues. Thank you, Jess, for posting this. It's really comforting. :)

I wont say all I want to say here but I have to at least say I love this video and I love that you shared it with us. I love and have always loved your honesty. I get why you would not want to share this much honesty with the entire internet (I have said my thoughts on it before, many of them do not deserve it). I glad you feel comfortable enough with us to share it with us. I appreciate someone looking good as much as the next person but I try not to bring it up a lot unless it is the topic of conversation. Since it is part of this conversation/video I have and still do think you are very attractive. I will stop here so as not to write an entire novel.

Very moving - I won't pretend to know how you (or anyone else really) feels internally about these sort of issues - all I would say is that a) It is vastly easier being a man simply because everyone elses expectations are different - and this goes so far beyond bodily appearance - I mean, ffs, we have a uniform for formal evening wear - women, no such luck. And b) that I know that even with advantages such as that, I couldn't hope to have the courage to do what you do.
