I am just as surprised as anyone that Bates didn't clean house in my Favorite TV Moment of the Week in it's final few weeks. But I'm sure it'll be back on top next week....you can almost count on it.

But this week, SHIELD threw a curveball at us. The framework claimed it's first victim from our team and it was utterly heartbreaking. This was one of the most emotional death scenes of the series for me and not because I'm such a huge fan of Mace. Don't get me wrong, he was a wonderful character but damn, that hit me so hard.

The reason this scene was my favorite TV moment of this week is because of how Mace died. All Mace ever wanted was to save people. To be a hero. And now he finally got his wish. Now we can all debate about whether or not Mace's death was in vain. One could argue he managed to keep the building up for the rest of the team to get to safety. But one could argue that he didn't have to jump in and save a (let's be frank) fake child. But I guess what matters in the end is Mace believed the child was real so he did not hesitate and that's why I'm choosing to believe that he honestly had "No Regrets" from the way things turned out for him in the framework.

The repercussions of this week's crushing scene (no pun intended there) are yet to come to light. At what point is the point of no return for Fitz? He's killed Agnes and ordered the quinjet to shoot down the building that killed Mace. Can he even recover from all that he's done? Would he even want to?

Well, I guess now all we can do is mourn Mace's death and worry about who will be the Framework's next victim in the final few episodes of SHIELD's fourth and possibly final season.

But always remember.....A Team that Trusts is a Team that Triumphs.

Mace's sacrifice MAY have had bigger consequences then saving a "fake child". May might have been influenced by that to help Daisy/use the crystal on her. So if Daisy getting powers helps to get them out then he MAY have saved everyone in the Framework. MAYbe. Also, I just have to say this somewhere because it is in the back of my head. The inhuman brother of the senator that died is still at the bottom of the ocean right? Why show us that unless it is going to come back into play. If it does I am wondering how at this point. It should be interesting.
