HI FOLKS!
I hope you loved the update! Who remember the lens/story I posted of that panel of the Boy, saying "This shot is misleading" haha. It's because without context it just looked like the Boy was pressing against Tera, his face saying "protect me!!"... when actually he tries to make Tera drop the belt by pushing him (he's also that close because he hold Tera's arm!) he is scared tho, he's never seen Tera acting so violently, "adamant to solve the matter his way" as one of you said; I think the fact that he stays close to Tera anyway shows he kinda trust him, that he won't hurt him even though he seems so upset.
I LOVE that panel, drawing dramatic and emotional faces is challenging yet very motivating for me! And I'm really happy with the result!

I have so many things to say that it's a mess in my head lol; I'll try to stick to the important stuff!
At first the scene was longer, there was an argument between the Boy and Muta (by the way, can you tell how CRAZY I improved, compared to Muta's first appearance? I had sooo much fun drawing his face!!). But I cut it because there is no need for more scenes of the boy fighting back, and more importantly: I didn't expect Tera to come rescue the Boy that often in the comic, it's bad writing and I thought "make it short, focus on this scene's purpose.

This whole scene is very important for both characters: the first thing being:
For the first time the Boy witnesses Tera's bad behavior. His nature is showing through. That's a part of him the Boy never really saw before.
However there's a slight nuance here: if you read carefully you can tell that the Boy doesn't understand Tera's intentions here. He doesn't know Tera is actually trying to kill Muta, he just thinks he came to help him, and plays a bit to much. That's why he worries about Tera squeezing to tight.
This scene is important, especially for the characters evolution. It will make sense later but it currently shows their initial "state"; in the second half of the comic we'll get a scene that will echo to this one except they will both have changed/evolved.

Now let's talk about the Boy's reflection in Tera's helmet. It looks okay, you can tell Tera is suddenly struggling inside, calculating, wondering what to do, feeling the Boy's look on him; there's more than that, if we could see his face we actually would see he's confused at that moment (that's why he keeps staring at the boy for the whole scene, he is in disbelief) : he doesn't understand why the Boy opposes the execution of Muta -who has just threatened him- because that's how Tera and Black Death always handled that kind of stuff. And suddenly there's this boy, who turns everything upside down. Tera is pulled out of his world. That's the second important thing to note.
Both of their world start to be shaken.
That's what the scene says. HOWERVER. It was meant to say more: The Boy's reflection was supposed to be distorted, twisted (like a reflection lol). But no matter what I tried it looked.. grotesque and laughable. That makes me really sad cause I had this idea for a very long time because of it's meaning. I know it's still foggy for you but to make it short: Tera's impact on the Boy. That was a metaphor.
