Page 718 (Patreon)

I don't know if this is page 718 haha, but I've had this kind of concept in my mind for a while: creating full-page illustrations of scenes that might appear later in the comic.
In fact, it could even be useful for me because, at some point, I'd like to be able to make a "trailer" for the comic using images from different panels; but for that, I need scenes that take place much later in the story (like this one).
By the way, it makes me realize (or question) how it must feel for readers to see them soo slowly get closer, knowing that at some point they'd die for each other.

I hope you like it! It's the first time we see Tera without her mask in the comic.

It was quite strange to make an extra but treat it like a regular page! The image is particularly polished, though. There are other cool shots in the upcoming pages, by the way. I am very grateful for your support over the years. Thank you for allowing me to evolve and improve. I am happy (most of the time, lol) with what my characters have become; there is so much more finesse in their treatment than before. Don't you think it's crazy the contrast and details you can get from lines, screentones and hatching??

People don't know that but I felt sooo insecure for the first 4 chapters of the comics that at some point (the beginning of the 4th one) I was using vector lines to get the cleanest panels (don't do it, it looks like shit). Chapter 5 forced me to step out of that "comfort zone" because the treatment of gore and violence also had to be conveyed through the lines. I've learned a lot from this chapter. You can actually see a before and after this chapter, haha. Chapter 4 is very 'clean', digital and boring. Chapter 6 and beyond have much more contrast, the lines are harder, more fluid, etc...
