QUIMBLY UPDATE NEW AND IMPROVED (Patreon)

Hey guys,
These last few months have been an absolute wild ride for us and we're hoping it's all worth it to see you enjoying this new build.

Consider this update around the same level of technicality as the first rebuild (of 2022 I think?) Regardless things will not look as different as you're expecting but the insides... Oh the insides will be fabulously different.

Quimbly Rebuild 2: Development Side:

• Total comprehensive rebuild of the dialogue system

• Potential for near limitless dialogue

• Easy translations into any language

• Streamlined core code game wide

• Framework for limitless story progression

• Reduced game size due to asset removal and cleanup

Player Side:

• Enhanced, proofread dialogue for every single character

• More dialogue for every single character, in some cases, over 200 lines.

• New expressions for: Amber, Victoria, Roxanne and Sophia

• Possible mod potential for the dialogue

• Bugfixes

Missing features:

• Date balancing to allow dates to have lots of outcomes

• Sudden endings to dates

• Unique ending dialogue for winning and failing dates

• Some sprites are missing or placeholders, Victoria's last date has very few sprites

• New gallery didn't make it into the build

Known Bugs:

• Minor visual glitches

• Android screen resolution incorrect

• CG's only display on a single dialogue line line

Recommendations:

• Enter the setting menu on the main menu and adjust the settings, this will ensure your settings save data is up to date.

• Do not load old saves
