Red Rising is awesome. It definitely has its ups and downs, but in my opinion, it’s peak sci-fi opera. I started the series after the first five books were already out, and I was so in that I reread everything when the sixth book came out. I’ll definitely do the same when the 7th comes out. Truth on kbm vs controller for fps. I played the bf6 beta on ps5 and pc and my deciding factor for what system I would play it on was my k/d being vastly lower on console with controller.

Salutations Dukes, I come to you in the wake of the Xbox leadership shakeup news with what is likely an unpopular opinion. People will no doubt be speculating over the next couple months how things might change for better or worse. I am usually just along for the ride and stay out of the drama, but this time there is one thing I strongly hope Xbox does not pivot away from now, and that is their move away from exclusivity and the walled garden ecosystem. I have always thought that, while a good business model for making money, the walled garden dominant industry has always hampered the potential growth and innovation of hardware and has created an insurmountable barrier to entry for any other company wanting to enter the industry to create more competition. Plus, I like the idea of being able to purchase the hardware that works best for me without needing to worry about not having access to certain games that are exclusive to a specific device, a vision that could become a reality if things like the Steam Machine and Microsoft’s next rumored console end up gaining traction. Since the idea to drop exclusives was probably more a Microsoft decision rather than a Phil Spencer one, I’m sure I have nothing to worry about, but if we assume nothing is off the table I am curious what your guys’ thoughts are on the possibility of Asha Sharma bringing back exclusives or some form of walled-garden restrictions for their ecosystem. As much as I personally would dislike it, could it actually make Xbox contenders on the business side of things again? Or is it too late and nobody would care? Thanks Dukes. Have a, Satya finally got his true AI lapdog to head Xbox, kind of day.
