We traveled a long, hard road for these photos. It was mid-August before our photo tour of Europe, we decided to leave a couple of days before and go to this amazing place to shoot. We left early in the morning, Olivia flew to Italy specifically for two days to do this shoot with me. We had to spend 15 hours driving to make it on time.
After 6 hours on the road, I felt that I felt bad, we stopped and I felt worse and worse, I was vomiting, shaking and had terrible pain in my stomach, the temperature rose to 39 within an hour, We had to call an ambulance. The ambulance arrived, immediately put on an IV and took me to the hospital. This was my first time in my life when I was taken in an ambulance, Mark was not allowed in and I was traveling alone and I was terribly scared.
Without going into details, they pumped me full of drugs and released me without understanding what was wrong with me. And we had a choice: go back and go to the doctor or continue the journey and get to Italy. For me there wasn’t even a choice because Olivia was already on the plane and I simply couldn’t let everyone down. And we decided to get to Vienna, spend the night there and move on in the morning.
We picked up Olivia from the Florence airport in the evening, and at night we were already at the rented accommodation, we were all terribly tired and I was still feeling bad. We only had 3-4 hours to sleep and at 5 am we already left for this location.
It was necessary to arrive there at dawn and so that there were no people there. I was shooting for about two hours, with fever and pain, so this affected the result a little, it didn’t turn out the way I imagined, but I hope you still like it 🩵
Oh God, this job is definitely going to kill me someday 😅
