More than 10 years ago I saw someone’s photo of this lake, I started Googling and found that this lake is located in the Alps in Italy and is called Braies, and since then I have dreamed of going there. Then I didn’t even have money to go eat in a cafe, not even for go to Italy.
A couple of years later, I met Mark and told him about my dream and we decided to go there in the spring, half a year after we talked about it. We bought plane tickets for May. But closer to the date we decided to sign and we had a choice- spend money on Braies or go to Odessa to sign, then Mark was living in UK and we saw each other very rarely, so we decided to go Odessa and we signed, since then I am not Mihaylova, but Shpara. And Braies again remained my dream.
Then they gave me a visa and I moved to England to Mark, it was a difficult period of life for me, we barely had enough money to rent a house, pay for bills and food, I then sewed and sold toys, but this was still not enough to travel. But we thoroughly decided to save up money and try to go to Braies again in the spring. I invited my friend with us so that it would be cheaper for the three of us to rent housing. We bought plane tickets again for May (damned month, I swear you 😂) and guess what? that’s right, Covid started 🤣 And of course all the planes were canceled and we didn’t go anywhere and again Braies remained my dream.
When planes started flying again, we returned back to Ukraine and left England.
A year passed and again I set out to get to Braies. Then I already had a Patreon and I worked very hard, took many orders for shootings and toys to raise money. (Has everyone already realized that I’m a Capricorn?🤣) And in November 2021, I finally saw Braies for the first time in my life. Should I say that I cried with happiness?
Then I thought how great it would be to shoot here someday, but then I understood that it was unrealistic, or rather it seemed so to me. And now, after so many years, we not only did a shoot there, but in these photos it’s not another model, but me, and for me these photos are a memory for life. Mark helped take these photos, for which I am very grateful to him, without him these photos would not have been possible.
