Hospital updates (Patreon)

I think many of you have already seen my Instagram stories today, but I decided to repost here, just in case someone missed it. For about a week, we’ve been going to different doctors, doing numerous blood tests, and spending a ton of money on all of this, only for none of them to give me the correct diagnosis. It was only thanks to the surgeon who urgently sent me to the hospital this morning, and after an entire day there under IVs and undergoing various examinations, we found out that, somehow, a lot of fluid has accumulated in the pericardium (around my heart), putting a lot of pressure on it, which could cause it to stop at any moment. So, I was admitted to the intensive care unit, connected to all sorts of machines 24/7, and they didn’t even let me get up to go to the bathroom, bringing a bedpan instead 🙈 But since I had a severe panic attack and no one could calm me down, they had to make an exception and let Mark into the unit, and he managed to calm me down and convince the doctor to let me use the bathroom myself without the bedpan 😅 On Monday or Tuesday, they will drain the fluid from around my heart and send it for analysis to find out where it came from. The doctor also mentioned that it could be due to an autoimmune reaction in my body attacking my muscles, which might have affected my heart as well, but that’s just a theory for now. I’ll keep you updated as much as I can while I’m here. If I do end up dying, just know that I love you and I’m grateful you’re here with me 🫂♥️
