After operation (Patreon)

My dearest ones, I’ve only just started to come around after the surgery. I didn’t expect the pain to be so intense that I can’t even take a breath and can only breathe through oxygen. Even with a large amount of intravenous pain medication, I still can’t move or speak. They drained 670ml of fluid from the pericardium around my heart—can you even imagine how much that is?? It turns out there’s also fluid in the abdominal cavity on both sides, but they only drained what was life-threatening, which was from the heart. That fluid has been sent for testing, and if the autoimmune process is confirmed, they’ll start treatment, and hopefully, it won’t be necessary to drain the fluid from the abdomen; it might go away on its own. And maybe, just maybe, the muscle pain will lessen, since it’s all connected. Right now, I have a tube in my heart through which blood and leftover fluid are draining into a container. It’s hard to describe in words the pain I’m feeling. As soon as I feel a bit better, I’ll start responding to everyone! I love you, and I’m so grateful to have you all in my life!
