you guys missed it but when Gemma and mark visited the fertility clinic, the man in all the rooms with her that she hits with the chair was there. And in the beginning, when they were both drawing blood when they first met, the blood bags said lumon. Lumon is literally everywhere. MY theory is that they had been watching Gemma for a really long time and pursued her, not the other way around. We know she struggled with fertility issues so maybe they took advantage of her vulnerability and told her they could help her get pregnant.

gemma only "died" 2 years ago, he started working in lumon after she died to cope with the grief so they've been there at the same time shes just in another floor

yeah lumon wanted them for some reason thats why mark is so important to them and why they're like experimenting on gemma, they clearly had they're eyes on them for a while
