I love that yall checked this one out, I hope you're able to get to Director Zach Creggers other movie "Weapons" this month too! The casting for the men on this one was so well thought out. They knew that casting Bill Skarsgard would add an extra layer of unease to his character (he had just played Pennywise & he's also just a big tall guy) and that Justin Long has a more trustworthy good guy feel to him and he's shorter iirc. The guy that plays the REAL monster (because I don't consider Mama as the villain in this one) ALWAYS plays the worst characters. I believe you guys watched the A Nightmare on Elm Street remake where he played the even more rapey Freddy. That's just to name one. Also also I think Keith was just being a bad boy and Mama didn't like it. Cuz I mean, she did try to take care of AJ until he tried to hurt her other baby and she (rightfully!) killed him.

looove how zach cregger changes the vibe every time with every switch of characters pov, he does it in weapons too and its great, i love how they feel like diffrent movies within the same movie
