yes marcel “just had some” of klaus’s blood in vials if you remember, because in the finale of s1, marcel made a deal with klaus, allowing him to be compelled to forget about baby hope being alive to protect her, for vials of his blood. it makes a lot of sense actually. werewolves now reside in the quarter making vampires vulnerable. if one of his people, vampires (gia for example), were bitten, he would be able to save them.

I love the Dahlia backstory reveal in this episode it's so good!! Also meeting Klaus's bio dad! was amazing.
