My guess is that it is a no-no to use the leftover soup as part of the broth lol. Can't have royal palates tasting something that complex. More to the point, that would be an excellent way to smuggle something a bit toxic into the royal dinner.

But remember he can store it all away and it’s frozen in time,so that shouldn’t be a big problem. Though for the story as written, Chef Auguste has no way of knowing that (I can’t remember who said it early on,but the time-stop effect of his inventory is pretty much unheard of ). I think it might actually be his complaint that he’s using "last night’s" leftovers today not knowing that the soup is as fresh as the moment he finished it weeks ago…

I’m upset… this chapter should be 4 times longer! My brain needs more!! This is some good addictive literature and I’m jonesing for a bigger fix. Please drop like 20 more chapters asap! I can be patient… Does Friday give you enough time?? Seems reasonable to me,let’s say Friday. In all seriousness though, I’m truly enjoying your work. Thanks for sharing your story.

I am looking forward to Chef tasting the food. My guess is he’ll be surprised how good it is, but I suspect he’s will have more than a few critiques to improve textures/flavor/presentation/etc… As well as technical cooking techniques I.e. reverse searing the steaks, steaming the vegetables 1st, and so on. I’m thinking Chef is expecting C+ quality food (taste only, not counting buffs). Something that is good by commoner’s standards, but will raise his opinion after tasting to a B maybe B+ at most, which still leaves him with plenty of room to help Trevor improve significantly.

I’m a little confused with Milo’s plan with the speed tea. The candies Micha could sell when Trev and Co are traveling. But Trevor would need to be there to infuse each pot of tea for the boost. Would that not defeat the whole point of letting Micha set up shop?

The infusion was on drying the grass, not on making the tea, so he'd only need to prepare the grass itself in bulk
