Early access, extended cut, ad-free, ALL the goodies for my most lovely and loyal supporters!!! Thanks for all you do!

You guys asked to hear more of that new Friedman Jake E Lee JEL-50 amp, and I wasn’t gonna let you go without. This video is nothing but playing, no talk, all RAWK!

I’ll take ya from the crystal cleans to the Plexi crunch (and more crunchier tones) on channel 1 before we head over to channel 2 for rock and BEYOND. It’s such a cool amp!!! If you’ve ever wanted an amp that is like a perfected Plexi and 800 in one amp, this is what you need… and as usual for a Friedman, the volume is extremely controllable!!! Bedroom tones sound GREAT with none of the thinness you usually get from running a tube amp at low volume, and believe me when I say it gets LOUD, too.

I also used a TON of different guitars from my collection, because why not???

See if you can name ALL the riffs! Cheers, and let me know any questions you have about the amp!

The Satch and OG Skid Row riff during the clean section was super duper swell.

Ben, do you have a past video where you talk about how you run the UA Ox into your DAW? Really curious how you get all the great sounding speaker cab sounds, as I guess you are using IR's. Ty!

Tom Atkins Band

Really nice version of reminiscing by little river band. I might Hendrix that up a little more and try it in my band (my drummer will probably kill me)

Josh

Pat Metheny vibes from an amp associated with Jake E Lee, really does not get any better

Rob Z

Ha! The very first song I ever heard live in concert was Girlschool. Britny Fox was opening for Ratt back in the late 80s. I was 15 and just started playing guitar. Great video as always!!

That was a fun video, I bet you enjoyed making that one! Songs I recognized: 18 and life Say it ain't so Jailbreak Lonely is the night Mr. Brownstone Carry on my wayward son You really got me Ain't talking about love I'm the one Bark at the moon Pornograffitii Round and round Party hard Suzi wants her all day ?? We die young A few others I recognized the riff but couldn't remember the song, Really should be going back to work now. Don't think my boss would accept my excuse that I was watching my favorite uncle shred🤔

Todd Staege

My favorite Uncle doesn't disappoint

Excellent!!!

Gypsy Road! A very welcome surprise. Underrated

NYCM&AHole

Sweet tones, man. Would love to see that vs the ir J

William Hernandez

Great fun video. I could not name all of the riffs, but they were all killer and no filler. Is it just me or does this amp sound way better than the UX version ? The gain on this sounds more...realistic for lack of a better term. I even liked the clean tones better.

Got my play list and practice list for the next year

@Uncle Ben was there any difference in signal chain (aside from guitar) going from the VH1/2 riifs to BATM? Or was it all in the hands? This whole video ripped!

0:41 Always With You, Always With Me by Joe Satriani

Scott Lee

Hate to bug but which cab was VH and which one was BatM? Thank you! You've always been my favorite step-uncle

Phil Ashio

LOVED the Kings X, but the icing is at the end. John Sykes wrote some balls out music that keeps getting better with age. Sounds incredible! So choppy, so phat! :)

David Malley

Which would you prefer overall! The 50W or the 20W?
