TIL Uncle Ben is a pitcher and a catcher - on the guitar obviously

John Cullen

Could you do more stuff off Rust In Peace Ben. Thanks 🤘🏻🙂🤘🏻☢️

One of the first songs I learned and still struggle with years later. The picking on the intro always feels tricky and then the opening riff is hard to make sound right. Hoping this will help me crack it! The left hand muting techniques seem great thanks.

I love this series. It's about time someone started talking about metal classics the same way we talk about jazz standards!

Congrats on the Mastodon gig! I don’t know how permanent you are but when I heard Brent Hinds left I immediately thought you would be a great replacement!

Andy Gelband

Fantastic. I do a hack job of the solo....would be great to see how you play it properly!

Michael Duplechin

So where do you get the guitar tabs from?

Extreme13

Like Eddie always said it is music Theory not music fact. I'll have to check out the Van Scalen video. Yes I see the value of picking and muting. It's both hands that control what rings out. I saw a video of Zach playing this song. It looks like he starts the opening riff on the up stroke but the pre chorus on an upstroke?

Where are the downloadable tabs?

Samuel Smith

He used the major sixth because it kinda sounded cool. Dime wasn’t complicated.
