Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Seriously, you give so much of yourself to music and to those who aspire to make even a little of their own music. You're kind, funny, helpful, and a great teacher to boot. Your situation makes me think of the movie Rock Star when that guy just gets plucked out of the audience to come on stage. Obviously, your gig playing with Mastodon was very different, but it's fantastic to see dreams come true. I'm still waiting for Theocracy to call me up for a gig, but I won't be holding my breath.
