No.3 for sure, if not this month next one. It would be nice analyzing Vernon Reid's technique, favorite licks, etc. Same for Nuno's. 90s stuff, especially on Waiting for the punchline and III Sides. From Vai and Satch, stuff almost nobody touches on, such as Joe Satriani (1995), Sex&Religion, Alien Love Secrets. In my opinion their pinnacle in sound, composing, and phrasing.

Since every video you’ve made, I think, involves some sort of this, I’ve always wanted to see/learn how you put a track together (your recording/Logic workflow) - just to glean some pearls of wisdom on a speedier, more efficient process! This, of course, is so I can get my ideas down “more easier” while doin’ all this pickin’ you’re encouraging us to do! That’s the clickin’ I think you could certainly get behind. Happy to send over the results, too.

More toward your specific question to the community about May suggestions - good call not wearing it out, so since you’ve already done this (most recently with the DeLeo vid), AND it’s a *song appreciation* channel as much as it is a guitar channel (always has been, imo), AND you can incorporate the “big guitar” goal you’ve expressed by entertaining everyone with BASSLINE GOLD, why not focus on more songs which feature that guitar-bass-interplay (like Interstate Love Song) by examining BOTH parts? That relationship is really on display all over the place in so many songs, and you’ve pointed it out briefly in other vids, but not like you did in the DeLeo vid (which I agree with you, is freakin’ fascinating)! Learning basslines that click with the gtr lines melodically, but perhaps not rhythmically, and how and why WOULD be awesome! That DeLeo vid, I think, really helps highlight for us students the relationship between the two. I’m guessing several of us guitarists may not really understand it (or aren’t aware of really). Loads to be shared and examined about this topic from an interesting AND informative standpoint (e.g. bass as a rhythmical tool, melodic tool, or both - sometimes follows the drums, sometimes the gtr, etc.). I’d be stoooked to learnabout this song or that song’s usage of it. It would introduce us to new players and absolutely help make us better songwriters (or at least appreciators) all around. The community would have a shit ton of song suggestions, I bet. I’ve seen some dang savants in here!
